Zusammenfassung:In the orthopaedic field the foreign body reaction is well known for therapeutic purposes in the alleged Masquelet technique consisting of segmental bone loss two-stage reconstruction. The induced membrane creates advantageous local conditions that promote bone graft remodeling and osteointegration.
