Zusammenfassung: | The Wedding model is a recovery-orientated treatment model that was implemented in 2010 as part of a complex change project in the Department of Psychiatry of the Charité at the St. Hedwig Hospital (PUK-SHK). According to this model, all ward structures were changed in order to promote transparency, participation, trialogue and multiprofessional work. A strong focus was also laid on therapeutic attitudes and the opening of acute psychiatric wards. The relevance of the Wedding model as a possible tool to implement a recovery-orientated, person-centered approach of care and its possible role in the reduction of coercion are the subject of this article. |
