This study was designed
to test the hypothesis that venular administration of ATP resulted in
endothelium-dependent dilation of adjacent arterioles through a
mechanism involving cyclooxygenase products. Forty-three male golden
hamsters were anesthetized with pentobarbital sodium (60 mg/kg ip), and
