Zusammenfassung:The current discussion addresses several distinct applications in which the power of the hybrid FT-MS is demonstrated to provide either novel insight into the system or more chemical information about the system in shorter time. The benefit of ultrahigh resolution of FT-MS in studies of dense and complex samples was addressed. In addition, the advantage of the high resolution in intact protein studies was demonstrated.
