Zusammenfassung: | Today, the workplace in the US presents new challenges to everyone. Racial tensions may have eased and women advanced, but at the same time many white men appear puzzled by the new rules. They feel blamed for behavior they did not knowingly engage in, and defensive when the topic of white male privilege comes up. These feelings can impact their role as managers of a workforce that is now a melting pot of different cultures and attitudes. This article discusses these challenges, and what companies can do to help its majority managers become effective leaders and managers of people within this new landscape. |
