A new FDA approval permits using the anticoccidial Bovatec® (lascalocid sodium) and the antibiotic Aureomycin® (chlortetracycline) in the same cattle feed to optimize weight gain and feed efficiency while controlling coccidiosis and the leading causes of bacterial enteritis (diarrhea) and pneumonia.
