A question on search net is answered. To save searching time, Outlook 2007 defaults to searching just the Inbox. To set the default to extend future searches, click on Tools, Options, Preferences and Search Options. Then, under Deleted Items, place a check next to Include messages from the Deleted Items folder in each data file when searching in All Items. David M. Fogel, a CPA in Roseville, CA, was the first to suggest this formula, noting it could be used in a large spreadsheet over a wide range of cells:=SUM(A1:G1) /COUNTIF(A1:G1,">0").
