Zusammenfassung:In a 2003 study, Altshuler conducted separate focus group meetings of students, educators, and caseworkers in an urban Midwest area to find out how public schools and child welfare agencies could work collaboratively to improve the academic achievement of children in foster care. In their 2002 survey study, Powers and Stotland highlighted the conflicting perspectives among school districts, county agencies, and private foster care providers in Pennsylvania regarding barriers in the school enrollment process.
