According to the Global Peace Index for 2024, "There are currently 56 active conflicts, the most since the end of Second World War, and with fewer conflicts being resolved, either militarily or through peace agreements." [...]this unfortunate evidence should not leave us in despair, but have just the opposite effect: inspire us to think faster and better on how to use our knowledge, understanding, and skills to change for the better what we can as individuals, communities, and organizations. According to the ICTMD Statutes, "A National Committee can be established in a country that is recognised by the United Nations and has at least three ICTMD members.
