Broadleaf Signs Book on American Fascism Journalist, lawyer, and author Omer Aziz (Brown Boy) has sold North American rights to Shadows of the Republic: The Rebirth of Fascism in America—and How to Defeat It to Valerie Weaver-Zercher at Broadleaf Books. Ace Takes Publisher’s Romantasy Debut After an auction, Ace executive editor Anne Sowards has taken North American rights to Amy Coombe’s debut fantasy, Stay for a Spell, as well as two other as-yet-untitled books. Harvest said the book draws on Cohen’s “35 years of experience working with children and families, sharing the commonsense advice that millions of social fans love.”
