Zusammenfassung:Earlier this month, pension manager Railpen and renewable energy business GreenPower announced their plan to develop a 66-megawatt (MW) onshore wind project in north Argyll, Scotland. The partners already coown the 46MW Carraig Gheal onshore wind project in north Argyll, which was built in 2013. Combined, the projects will supply sufficient energy for around 250,000 homes. In Scotland, such wind farm announcements are not particularly unusual. The same cannot be said of England: due to planning rules introduced under the previous Conservative government, it has been virtually impossible to bring forward onshore wind farms.
