Zusammenfassung: | Housing secretary Michael Gove has approved CO-RE and Mitsubishi Estate's plans to redevelop the former ITV Studios on London's South Bank, following an 18-month review process. The £700m demolish-and-rebuild proposals will create an 850,550 sq ft office-led development on a 2.5-acre site on London's South Bank, reaching 25 storeys at its tallest point. The 72 Upper Ground scheme will see all current buildings on the site, including the London Television Centre, demolished. A planning inspector had recommended the plans be approved and a decision statement read: "Overall, he [Gove] agrees with her recommendation and has decided to grant permission." |
