Zusammenfassung:Breathing new life into the life sciences sector, the demand for property space has evolved following the post-Covid-19 investment surge. Data centres and life sciences were the two flourishing property sectors during the pandemic, driven by the increased demand for online entertainment and the need for manufacturing facilities for vaccines. However, the bubble burst as investors realized the actual value of some of these companies. While demand for space from life sciences companies remains high, funding has become more challenging for smaller companies. Property developers and investors need to adapt their approach to meet the changing needs of their customers. Major cities like Oxford, London, and Cambridge continue to have strong demand for space, and other cities like Manchester and Birmingham are also expanding their life sciences hubs. Collaboration between clusters and the development of the UK as a single supercluster is crucial for the sector's success. The Life Sciences Research Clusters Conference will address these challenges and showcase successful strategies in the sector.
