A RETROFIT IN THE HEART OF DICKENS LAND

TDO Architecture's Tailored Living Solutions was designed to be robust in its choice of materials and adaptable and loose fit in its spatial layout, while accommodating a range of leasing strategies from a single whole building let to multiple small businesses. Wellbeing was central to the scheme, with the incorporation of varied outside amenity spaces, multi-aspect spaces, natural ventilation and shared social spaces. Its design is intended to be rooted in Southwark's context and history -- a contemporary interpretation of the warehouse typology.
