Slayton Stewart, chief executive officer of Carolina West Wireless, was re-elected chairman; Laurent (LT) Therivel, president and CEO of United States Cellular Corp., was elected vice chairman; Cindy Christy, president of Asurion, was re-elected treasurer; and Jim Cathey, chief commercial officer of Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., was elected secretary. The officers are Chris Townson, chief executive officer of DTC Communications (president and CEO); Eric Cramer, president and CEO of RiverStreet Wireless (vice president); Allen Bennion, wireless supervisor at Strata Networks (secretary); and Jana Wallace, CEO of PTCI (treasurer). Earlier jobs included president and chief executive officer of the Internet Association, COO of NCTA, vice president-external and state affairs at CTIA, and chief of the FCCs Consumer and Governmental Affairs Bureau.
