Zusammenfassung:People, Places, Preoccu PERSON OF INTEREST Sopé Dirísu Touted by some as the next potential 007, the actor returns for season two of Gangs of London Theres a certain rite of passage that every British male actor of a certain age who has recently displayed a certain set of skills onscreen must go through - at some point theyll be talked up as a possible James Bond. For Sopé Dlrísů, this happened shortly after the first season of Gangs of London, Gareth Evans brutal and blood-soaked crime thriller series, which aired on Sky in the U.K. in 2020 and the next year on AMC+ in the U.S. The first episode alone - in which Dirísús undercover cop character, Elliot Finch, takes out an entire pubs worth of Eastern European bruisers - showed the actor is more than capable of taking on any sequence, Bond or otherwise. According to Dirísú, born in London to Nigerian parents (Sopé is a Yoruba name meaning give thanks to God), the first talk of 007 actually came when he was just 15. According to Kara Vander Weg, senior director at Gagosian Gallery and board member of the Triple Aught Foundation, every one of my feelings is justified.
