This article addresses what it takes for a CPA to be successful in such a role and what attorneys look for when retaining experts. There are many factors that are important to an attorney when selecting a CPA expert. A few of the most important attributes that many attorneys will consider are: 1. necessary credentials to qualify as an expert, 2. experience in a relevant industry, 3. knowledge of litigation process pitfalls, 4. advanced computer skills, and 5. know the rules for admissibility of expert testimony. |
