Zusammenfassung: | Health literacy is the ability to “access,” “understand,” “evaluate,” and “apply” health information to make appropriate decisions. It has been measured all over the world, and is considered a human rights issue because the gap is causing health disparities. In Japan as well, it was pointed out that even if people are able to obtain and understand information, it is difficult for them to judge and make decisions. It is necessary to learn not only how to evaluate the reliability of information, but also the process of making decisions by checking the sufficiency of the options, knowing the advantages and disadvantages of each option, and clarifying the values that determine which of them is important. |
