Transitions: State U. of New York College at Oneonta Selects Next President: Appointments, resignations, retirements, awards, deaths

Alexander Conyers, vice president for strategic alliances and initiatives at the South Carolina State University, has been named acting president after James Clark was fired. Delmy M. Lendof, associate dean of student affairs in the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development at New York University, will become vice president for student affairs at Pratt Institute on August 23. Nicholas Scibetta, vice president for marketing and communications at Stony Brook University, will become vice president for university communications and marketing at Carnegie Mellon University on August 16. Paul J. Scheel Jr., chief executive officer of Washington University Physicians at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, has been named vice chancellor for clinical affairs.
