Weniger Übernahmen nach einer betrieblichen Ausbildung

In 2020, a significant number of German training companies were economically significantly affected by the Covid19 pandemic. A pandemic-related restriction or even cessation of their training activities would have far-reaching consequences – both for individual careers and for the future supply of skilled workers in Germany. Using data from the IAB Company Panel, we examine below how the Covid-19 pandemic has impacted on-the-job training after the first lockdown in 2020.
