Zusammenfassung: | A successful culture training program includes: * Sharing the organization's mission and vision * Setting the tone for employee interactions with internal and external stakeholders * Describing the employee behaviors for which the company rewards or punishes * Providing a workplace conflictresolution process * Teaching the tangible skills needed for a better environment Ideally, the program should be more like a dialogue among peers with a common goal: to make the culture in which they spend most of their waking hours a positive, supportive environment. The program should set the baseline for operation of organizational culture so that employees and managers throughout the company can more easily identify and rectify factors that detract from a positive workplace culture-such as backbiting, retaliation, and behavior by leaders and others that does not comply with culture standards. In their leaving, employees have spoken: A positive workplace environment is essential for workers. [...]it must be essential to the organization too. |
