Zusammenfassung:When e-books first became wildly popular in 2007, thanks to Amazon’s release of the Kindle, physical books were considered to be a format whose days were numbered. Fast forward to the present day, that death knell sounded for print books was premature. According to a report by the NPD Group, e-books accounted for approximately one of every six books sold in the U.S. for the 12 months ending in June 2021.
