Plant Nurseries, Plant Hunters and Pioneers

We are now planning a series of Monday evening zoom lectures to run from September through to mid-2022. The subjects are wide-ranging in date and approach but are linked by the common theme of the establishment and history of plant nurseries, the people who owned them and their quest for new and interesting plants. We aim to include talks on nurseries from York, Cheshire, Hampshire and Norfolk, as well as London and its environs, some of which have been run by the same families for several generations.
