Zusammenfassung:Recently, I wrote an article titled "Fossil-Fueled Fascism," on the fossil fuel industry's financial and political support for the far-right wing of U.S. politics. Key among these are the close relationship the BJP (and Prime Minister Modi personally) has with Gautam Adani, founder and head of a huge business conglomerate with interests in a wide array of industries that include coal, natural gas, and fossil-fueled utilities. Fossil-fueled fascism is global The fossil fuel industry's reliance on governmental subsidies and bailouts on one hand-and on ruthless state power to overcome opposition to their polluting activities on the other-is a longstanding, worldwide phenomenon.
