Zusammenfassung:The Automated Performance Evaluation website (APES) needs an update that creates email and Short Message Service that automatically sends a notification when a step in the evaluation process has been completed. The introduction of the relative value marking system has neutralized inflated markings from the 1990s, and based off a commissioned study, there is "no evidence" of rampant inflation.3 As discussed above, nearly half of all reports are submitted late, which indicates Section H is not an effective tool to encourage timely reports. Imagine if during the height of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, Section H was an evaluation of a Marines "cultural/language aptitude as applicable to a counter-insurgency environment," or during the last few years if the targeted focus was on "Social media conduct and behavioral health and wellness."
