Zusammenfassung:The former Czechoslovak Patent Act of 1990, effective from January, 1991, is still in force in the Czech Republic. Several remedies are available to any person suffering prejudice due to an infringement of patent rights. It is hoped that the legislative amendments of either the Patent Act or the Civil Procedure Code will soon bring an end to the dispute which jeopardizes the efficiency of patent enforcement in the Czech Republic.
