Zusammenfassung: | Even when FRA had completed the two passenger safety rulemakings, FRA had identified various issues for possible future rulemaking. In addition, FRA and interested industry members began identifying other issues related to the new safety standards. FRA decided to seek input and advice from the rail industry and address these issues with the assistance of FRA's Railroad Safety Advisory Committee (RSAC), which then established the Passenger Safety Working Group in 2003. |
