Zusammenfassung: | MB & J Goodwin has added a new flagship truck to its fleet in the shape of a Volvo FH16 750 6x2 tractor unit. The FH16 was purchased from Crossroads Truck and Bus to keep the hauler's drivers happy, according to owner of the Kingston upon Hull hauler, Chris Goodwin. MB & J Goodwin's broader fleet consists of a mixture of Scanias--one of which is a 66-plate R490 Topline--and 500hp Volvo FHs. Despite the substantial difference in power between these and the new Volvo. Goodwin says that the fuel economy figures are very similar, with both the FH16 and his lesser-powered trucks achieving 10mpg on the motorway in and out of London. |
