One of the metrics that has driven the popularity and interest in mobile e-mail are the significant return on investment gains. Beyond the hard cost savings that companies realized after deploying mobile e-mail, there were additional benefits for end-users. Many users felt more empowered, since they gained more control over when, where and how they could communicate and work. Companies, both large and small should consider the following when selecting mobile e-mail for their business: 1. security. 2. integration with existing technology investments and infrastructure. 3. ease of deployment and management. 4. platform that can support applications beyond e-mail. |
