Its information systems are based almost entirely on IP networks, PC hardware, and Windows NT, to facilitate Web access to applications. USWeb/CKS is developing and hosting some of National's key applications, including Internet and intranet sites. The airline is developing an intranet bidding application, an efficient way for pilots and flight attendants to choose the routes they want to fly.
