Ocwen Focuses on Technology, Execution to Meet Mod Challenge

While data support the public's cry against the slow pace of loan modifications by most megabanks, Ocwen Finanical Corp., West Palm Beach, Fla., a large servicer, continues to outperform the industry, and says technology and execution are the key. In testimony before Congress earlier this year, Ocwen president Ronald Faris pledged support for HAMP before voicing constructive criticism based on positive results.
