Zusammenfassung: | As the public sector enters a second wave of digital development, the impact on the finance profession is set to pose a significant challenge. Digital transformation is altering the way that citizens interact with public services and helping organisations to become leaner, more productive and more effective. The knock-on effect of the investment is already being felt across the public sector. While headlines have focused on the prospect of slashed headcount, outgoing Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy president Andy Burns says the finance profession needs to embrace the march towards digital as a positive. |
