The market leader, Sugar, owned by Hachette Filipacchi, retained its top position and managed a 1% rise on the period. Other teen titles did make small gains, including DC Thomson's fortnightly Shout magazine, which was down period on period but up 1.1% on the year. Panini's other teen title, Mizz, fared better than its sister title and, despite suffering a drop period on period, was upon the year.
