St. Louis to rescind tax on 401(k) assets

Mayor Freeman Bosley Jr. is backing away from a controversial tax on the deferred compensation plans, including 401(k)s, of employees who work in St. Louis. Bosley's announcement that he will seek to cancel the tax follows a firestorm of taxpayer anger and lawsuits.
