Zusammenfassung:Companies looking for investment locations in eastern Germany should take a close look at Schwarzheide in the state of Brandenburg. The site boasts modern infrastructure, firstclass road and rail access, easy access to eastern Europe, and the cooperation and feedstocks only a truly world-class chemical company can provide - BASF. Moreover, the German government's initiatives to re-invigorate the industry in eastern Germany means that all new investors can receive government grants and subsidies for up to 50% of their investment. Schwarzheide is one of BASF's largest production sites in Europe, but unlike other BASF locations, Schwarzheide is open to outside companies and investors. This means that other companies can join in the benefits of BASF's universally admired Verbund system - they can source feedstocks, sell by-products, and take advantage of BASF's experience and administration.
