Zusammenfassung:Universal Serial Bus (USB) technology allows self-identifying peripherals to be dynamically connected to a PC, and then automatically reconfigures the computer to accept the new device. Plug-- and-play and hot-plug capabilities require powered USB ports to transmit data and provide power. The USB transfers signal and power over a 4-wire cable. USB hub and host devices must be protected from damage when a shorted or damaged downstream device, such as a bad cable or connector, is plugged into the USB port.
