Zusammenfassung: | Every year, the most influential leaders in consumer technology are honored with the Dealerscope Hall of Fame Awards. This year, four individuals from the retailing, distributing and manufacturing parts of the CE industry are honored. They are: 1. Best Buy CEO Brad Anderson, 2. United Speaker Systems' founder and CEO William Hecht, 3. Brand Source's executive director Bob Lawrence, and 4. Belkin founder and CEO Chet Pipkin. Over the last decade, as Anderson has worked his way up in the company from COO to vice-chairman to CEO, he has watched wave after wave of consumer electronics trends sweep America. Even after the invention of the soft dome tweeter, Hecht continued to invent, earning four other patents. Lawrence has been instrumental in leading Brand Source in a number of other initiatives all of which add up to make the group more than just another cooperative buying organization. |
