Zusammenfassung: | In February 1998, Catholic Community Care, an alliance of 17 Catholic-sponsored long-term care organizations based in Cleveland, Ohio, was born. The collective goal of these organizations operating under the Catholic Community Care umbrella has been to offer a seamless continuum of care to the aged and chronically ill and to preserve and strengthen the Catholic presence in long-term care. Responding to the immediate demands of the new Medicare Prospective Payment System has become the current preoccupation of long-term providers, with managed care concerns taking a back seat. |
