Employers in almost every segment of the economy are scrambling for workers in unprecedented ways. As growth in the U.S. labor supply continues to slow, attracting, retaining and increasing the productivity of workers is becoming more and more essential for employers. The firms that are the most successful at managing their human capital through using effective communication programs, establishing a collegial work atmosphere and designing a performance management system with clear rewards and accountability will be most effective at enhancing their position with clients and within the marketplace. |
