Zusammenfassung:Understanding the effects of different types and conditions of atmospheres can be used to optimize debinding cycles and address carburization/decarburization issues, this article. Examines the effects of reducing, neutral and oxidizing environments and their dew points on the debinding rate in powder injection molding (PIM) processes. The use of a feedstock that incorporates a polyolefin backbone and stainless steel powder provides broad applicability of the study.
