Zusammenfassung: | If public accountants think that at some time in the future they may move into industry accounting and want to enhance their marketability, they may wish to obtain the CMA credential. In addition, accountants holding this combination of certifications often find that the additional credential raises their earning potential. A salary survey conducted in 1996 found that CPAs who also are CMAs earn average salaries of approximately $5,000 more than CPAs who are not also CMAs. This salary difference follows individuals throughout their careers, resulting in significant differences in older age categories. |
