REASSESSING THE ASSESSMENT OF DISTANCE EDUCATION COURSES

A new, parsimonious model that investigators interested in distance education can use to ask meaningful questions about the relative quality of distance education courses is presented. The approach removes the emphasis from student-level data and places it squarely on the course itself.
