Zusammenfassung: | Claims adjudication in the workers' compensation system often fails to recognize the significance of the brain - the organ of adaptation that generates complaints. This failure is the major factor in expensive and unwarranted disability claims and compensation. Workers' compensation medical care providers should pay closer attention to certain claims - specifically those that could be long-term - and apply early intervention, including evaluation of the claimant and his life circumstances. They will then be able to provide accurate treatment of the claim and referral to appropriate indemnity benefits. |
