Zusammenfassung: | Service times and final locations of ambulances are unknown at the time of dispatch. [...]the set of idle and busy ambulances and their locations change constantly. Public health screening is performed when early detection can improve clinical outcomes and/or to reduce the spread of infectious diseases, especially for diseases that have slow to develop and/ or initially nonspecific symptoms (e.g., AIDS, Zika, hepatitis and genetic disorders, such as cystic fibrosis). Case studies using real data show that incorporating the population heterogeneity into the modeling framework provides screening strategies that are cheaper and more accurate than existing state-of-the-art screening strategies. |
