These subjects include: 1. establishing a mission, goals and, objectives, 2. maintaining a focus on the practice's goals and objectives, 3. motivating lawyers and staff to the highest levels of performance, 4. being seen as having the highest levels of integrity and trustworthiness, 5. sharing information openly and honestly, and 6. coaching and developing the performance of others, 7. seeking input from others; listening, 8. setting performance criteria and holding people accountable to them, 9. being willing to take risks, be change-oriented and admit mistakes, 10. being willing to make the tough decisions - decisiveness, 11. building a sense of team and group cohesiveness, and 12. self-awareness, self-knowledge and self-care. |
