Zusammenfassung:A chance conversation with her Accounting 101 professor eventually led to FCGA and past president of CGA Nova Scotia Anne Driscoll's career choice. The idea took root and Driscoll ended up graduating from St. Mary's with a bachelor of commerce degree with an accounting major. Driscoll started with J.W. Lindsay Enterprises Inc. on May 7, 1984, four days before her graduation. Not surprisingly her role at the company has changed dramatically since her summer of 1984 days doing accounts payable. Having risen to the top of the company's finance department, she is not the controller for one of Canada's top employers. Driscoll's role is both strategic and operational and involves managing complex projects, timelines, and big budgets.
