The Foundation of the Bruce Hochman Award: Accountability

The Bruce Hochman Award is a special award. Bruce Hochman was known to have represented the famous, infamous, celebrities, athletes, the "moms and pops," as he considered his clients "good people who have simply made mistakes, or are otherwise somehow "misunderstood." No doubt he was known for taking a strong hand with clients, employing earthy language to accomplish what he believed was right and just - and to be accountable. For Bruce Hochman, the practice of tax law was a way of life, and a profession to be respected. Thus, he was a mentor, friend and advisor for many members of the federal judiciary, lawyers, accountants, government and private tax practitioners.
