'Desert island design:' Bridging the (band) gap without software

Remember "delta Vbe" (ΔVbe)? Bipolar junctions have a curious property: The voltage decreases with temperature but the voltage between two junctions with different currents (AVbe) rises with temperature. In fact, the difference is directly proportional to absolute temperature.
