While depositing in 1.067 M solution at −1.6 V, the rate of producing Co adatoms on Au surface is higher and smaller Co critical clusters can form, favoring the formation of fcc Co. Therefore, the structure of electrodeposited Co nanowires can be controlled by the rate of producing Co adatoms. |
