Zusammenfassung: | By using the macro capabilities of Lotus 1-2-3, both experienced and inexperienced Lotus 1-2-3 users can execute commands more efficiently. Worksheet cells are used in creating macros, and macros should be placed outside the area usually occupied by the spreadsheet. Macros should be simple, well-planned, and internally documented. After a macro has been properly named, it can be executed by 2 keystrokes. A newly developed macro should be debugged and then saved. The types of commands that can be used in macros include: 1. keystroke commands, which are the first letters of command names, 2. X macro commands, which direct the execution of the macro, 3. function key commands, which replace the use of the function keys, and 4. cursor key commands, which are used in place of the cursor and keypad. Examples of various X macro commands are given. Also, by storing the macro in a particular file and giving the macro a particular name, Lotus 1-2-3 can automatically execute a macro whenever the system is loaded. |
